Born and raised in Mineral Wells, Tx. located west of Fort Worth in the DFW. Sports have really been the premise of my life as I lettered in 5 different sports in high school so I am very competitive. I've been writing music, poetry, and rapping since age 13. Now 22 years old and with two mixtapes under my belt, I'm pressing harder than ever to make music I love and look toward recieving a deal soon. Lupe Fiasco Speaks On Blogs Being Seized



“People are trapped in the culture where music needs to be free and you don’t need to pay for it,” he told The BoomBox. “I was just at Princeton, speaking at Cornel West’s class, and someone asked that. They asked about the relationship between blogs and artists. I told them, at a bare minimum it costs me, literally out of my own pocket, it costs me $3,000 to $4,000 to make a song. It costs me about $700 to $800 to make a freestyle. I’m giving you that.”

Before blogs there was Napster, so I don’t think you can blame blogs. With or without blogs people will find a way to download music. If you want to sell records these days you need to have a connection with your fan base to make them want to buy your music.
